The first and only book for collectors of cast-iron Bundt pans. Includes pans from both the US and Germany.
Many of the cast-iron foundries in Germany were converted to support the German military during WWI and WWII. Unfortunately for these foundries, this made them prime military targets. The result was many of the foundries were destroyed, along with all their records, catalogs, patterns, and molds. Little information was left behind for collectors to research and catalog the foundry marks on many of the collectible pans cast in Germany. Known manufacturers covered include the following:
Berkley Machine Works and Foundry Co.
    Buzuluk a.s.
    Cousances–Le Creuset
    Eisenwerk Lauchhammer
    Eisenwerk Martinlamitz GmbH
    Frank'sche Eisenwerk GmbH
    Gottbill ser Erben Eisenwerk
    Griswold Manufacturing Co.
    Frank W Hay and Sons
    J. C. Roberts
    John Wright Company
    Lodge Manufacturing Co.
    Savery and Co.
    Wagner Manufacturing Co.
    Węgierska Górka Eisenwerk
    Železárny a Smaltovny Bartelmus a.s.
The author spent four years researching online and in person in Germany, France, and the Czech Republic the origin of all of these pans and includes select images of each pan, dimensions, key notable characteristics, and baking volumes for more than 100 examples.
